NWB supply a wide range of Single Lip - NBR Rotary Shaft Seals. These are generally used as a means of protecting the bearings of rotating shafts, from leakage and external contaminants.

Oil Seals perform two essential functions:
Retain the bearing or rotary shaft equipment lubricant in the system to avoid leakage.
Exclude any contamination of the system by external particles or other environmental factors.

NBR is nitrile rubber, this material has very good engineering properties and is a general-purpose sealing lip material. The single lip on our Single Lip NBR Rotary Shaft Seals will have single lip in contact with the system.

NBR provides good resistance to the following:
Most mineral oils and greases with a mineral oil base.
Normal fuels like gasoline, diesel and light heating oils.
Animal and vegetable oils and fats and hot water.
