Quad rings are a variation of the standard O-ring, with an X-shaped cross section suitable for sealing a range of static and dynamic applications. This four lip design gives quad rings twice the sealing surface of a standard ring, providing a higher sealing efficiency and lower friction than conventional O-rings.
