Designed for Taper Roller Bearings, AK Type NILOS Rings, supplied by NWB, are comprised of two closely connected sealing disks, with the outer piece having two locking dimples on the clamping surface. This additional layer of external protection over that provided by standard rubber bearing seals will extend and improve bearing uptime in even the harshest of operating environments.

Using an double externally sealing AK Type Nilos ring prevents both the leakage of lubricant and the penetration of dirt into the bearing.
