Ball Type Thrust Bearings
Ball Type Thrust Bearings supplied by NWB are a type of rolling element bearing used to reduce rotational friction and support and transmit predominantly axial loads. These loads are transmitted between machine parts through the rolling elements, or balls.
Axial loads are parallel to the direction of the shaft they are attached to, and it is these forces that Ball Type Thrust Bearings are manufactured to transmit, although they are also able to accomodate reasonable radial loads and the small contact surface between the balls/rolling elements and the races allows for tolerance of some misalignment of the inner and outer races.
NWB are accredited to ISO 9001, 18001 and 45001 and follow strict quality processes to ensure our customers receive the highest level of service and quality.
