NWB are able to supply KM Locking Nuts, often referred to as bearing nuts, shaft nuts or withdrawal nuts.

KM locking nuts are commonly used with suitable tab washers to securely locate bearings and other components onto a shaft. They can also be utilised when mounting taper bore bearings onto shafts.

KM Locking nuts have four equally spaced slots machined into the outer diameter of the nut, enabling the nut to be secured into position using the appropriate tab washer by bending the tab into the slots.
